Futures Academy Rusape (“Futures Academy”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of prospective students, guardians, parents, and visitors to this website (Futures Academy Rusape).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and the choices available to you. By using this website or submitting an application through it, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Admission application data — student details (name, date of birth, sex, grade or form applied for, special needs where disclosed) and guardian details (name, relationship to student, home address, cell number, occupation, and who is responsible for fees), submitted through our Apply form.
• Supporting documents — result slips, birth certificates, or similar files you upload as part of an application.
• Contact information — anything you send us directly by phone, WhatsApp, email, or the contact form, such as your name and message.
• Chatbot conversations— messages you type into the website's AI assistant, used to generate a helpful response.
• Technical information — standard information such as browser type and pages visited, collected automatically when you browse the site.

• To process and assess admission applications for Primary and Secondary divisions.
• To communicate with applicants and guardians about the status of an application, fees, and enrolment.
• To respond to enquiries made via phone, WhatsApp, email, or the contact form.
• To generate automated responses through the website chatbot.
• To maintain the security, functionality, and performance of this website.
• To comply with legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations relating to school enrolment.

Most of our applicants are minors. Application information about a student is submitted by, and with the consent of, their parent or legal guardian, who confirms the accuracy of the information provided and agrees to our admissions declaration at the time of submission. We only use student information for admissions and school administration purposes.

Application data is stored securely in a managed database provided by our technology partner (Supabase). Access is restricted to authorised Futures Academy staff involved in admissions.

Messages sent to our website chatbot are processed by a third-party AI service provider solely to generate a response and are not used for admissions decisions. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with regulatory or government bodies where required by law.

We retain application and guardian information for as long as necessary to process the application, and for as long as required by our record-keeping obligations if the student enrols. You may request deletion of your information at any time, as described in Section 8 below, where retention is not otherwise required by law.

Futures Academy has representatives assisting families based outside Zimbabwe, including in Ireland, Australia, and the United Kingdom. If you contact one of these representatives, your information is handled under the same principles set out in this Policy.

This website may use essential cookies or similar local storage required for the site to function correctly. We do not currently use these technologies for advertising. If this changes, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated information.
